As a large format film portrait photographer, I believe that the true beauty of a person lies not just in their physical features, but in the depth of their being.
In an age of digital manipulation and fleeting trends, I find solace in the purity of this method : the process itself is a performance, a beautiful dance of light, chemistry and human skill.
Each portrait session is a sacred journey of connection and collaboration. Through the magic of this ancient technique , I capture these moments of vulnerability and authenticity, creating timeless portraits that transcend the boundaries of time.
Upon exposure to light, silver halide crystals in the direct paper undergo a chemical reaction, creating a latent image that is then developed and fixed in my dark lab.
